Neuroradiology

Precise imaging of the head and spine. One focus of our team is the examination of the brain and the spinal column with the help of state-of-the-art imaging techniques (magnetic resonance tomography, computer tomography). MRI is particularly suitable for imaging the structures of your brain and spine in detail and detecting even the smallest changes.

Oncology

When first diagnosed with cancer, patients are often overwhelmed with emotions and have many questions concerning the extent of current disease and therapeutic options. Oncologic imaging helps those patients answer these questions, providing a clearer picture of what is happening in the body before, during and after treatment.

Prostate Imaging

Prostate imaging may help to identify three major health problems of the prostate gland: cancer, benign enlargement of the prostate, and inflammation (bacterial or abacterial). Imaging plays an important role in diagnosing and separating these problems.

Breast Diagnostics

85-90% of breast cancers are due to genetic abnormalities. Screening tests, such as yearly mammograms, are given routinely to people who appear to be healthy and are not suspected of having breast cancer. Their purpose is to find breast cancer early, before any symptoms can develop and when the cancer is usually easier to treat.

Vascular Diseases

Vascular and Interventional Radiology is a distinct sub-specialty of radiology and one of the most rapidly expanding areas in medicine. It has led the current movement toward minimally invasive and targeted therapy.

Minimally Invasive Therapies

Interventional Radiology (IR) is one of the most fascinating advancements of modern medicine. Many conditions that were once treated only by means of surgery can now be managed less invasively by interventional radiologists. Using high-tech imaging, interventional radiologists can diagnose and treat a wide variety of medical problems, through a tiny incision in the groin, with less risk, less discomfort, and less recovery time compared to surgery.

Pain therapy of the spine

Back pain is a widespread disease. A CT-guided back pain therapy is a gentle alternative to surgical procedures and allows targeted treatment of back pain. For many years, minimally invasive pain therapy has been a successful method for the targeted local treatment of back pain.
